Toronto Sportsman Show March 2003
THE TORONTO SPORTSMEN
SHOW
PARSON RUSSELL
TERRIER BOOSTER
by Susan Crawford
HELD MARCH 15, 2003
Hard to believe that I’m typing up a report for this show!! The Parson Russell was represented in small numbers at this show, but the quality was spectacular!!! It should be noted here that on March 14, the Canadian Kennel Club BOD voted to include the Parson Russell Terrier on the CKC Misc. List of Breeds. This is one of the steps required to fully recognize the Parson in the CKC Terrier Group and was sponsored by our club. Great things to come for this breed. At this time I would again like to thank our kind and generous sponsors of this show.
Foxwood Parson Russell's David & Susan Crawford
Bracken Hill Parsons Anne Hodson
Sonic Parson Russell's Lyne Arbour & George Courville
Bowery Parson Russell's Tom & Cheryl Edwards
Norjo Parson Russell's Norm & Joan Tuckey

David takes a much needed rest, Ron and Joan talk to passers by. |
A great time was had by all attending
the Sportsmen Show. There were four shows in one weekend making it a very busy weekend for the Rarities Show, and our club members. I would like to thank Margaret and Ron , Joan and my husband David, Tom and Cheryl, Bonnie and Anne for their help on Saturday and Sunday. Next year we hope to purchase an official banner for the club and a few other improvements, but for our first “Educate the Public” session I think it was well done. |
